Notes on the venue: Signs, Signs, Signs Please! There are about a zillion staircases and pathways, and it would be very easy to get lost. The ceremony area is on an upper lawn and has no shade. The reception area is in the castle-like mansion's courtyard, which goes into deep shade quite a bit before sunset.
This venue is owned by the park service and must be cleared out by 8pm for summer weddings. State park rangers are on site and monitor activity. If you're lucky, they'll give you a tour of the haunted mansion!
