Notes on the venue:
Located on the far side of Malibu from Los Angeles, and far up the hill, this private residence is very secluded. There is a view of the ocean, but it is quite a way away. There is also a view of the canyon.
There are a few areas to have the ceremony or reception. The courtyard seems to be more popular, but this reception was on the tennis court behind the amphitheater. The ceremony was overlooking the ocean behind the house, and the cocktail hour in the courtyard.
Parking is limited and valet takes quite some time, leading to a backup. There is no lighting on the road up to the venue, and the drive back down the mountain is difficult at night.
